Parallel Flow And Counter Flow Heat Exchanger Apparatus
To determine LMTD under parallel and counter flow conditions.
To determine the overall heat transfer co-efficient of the heat exchanger.
Consists of Concentric tubes.
• Inner tube is copper of ID 12.7mm and OD 16mm dia.
• Outer tube is GI (‘C’ Class Heavy Quality) of ID 35mm dia
Electrical Heaters (Geyser with ISO certified) are provided to generate the hot water.
Mechanism to change the direction of flow of water i,e. for parallel flow & counter flow.
Thermocouples are provided at the suitable positions to measure the temperature.
Temperature Measurement by Digital Temperature Indicator with channel selector.
Mains ON Indicator, Console ON Switch and other necessary instrumentation.
The whole arrangement is mounted on a self contained unit with NOVAPAN board control panel for ready use.
